UnitedHealthcare is one of the global leaders in delivering high-quality, member-driven health care plans. The health care provider has served Iowans for more than 30 years and was one of three companies chosen to administer the state’s Medicaid program.
In 2016, UnitedHealthcare launched a new statewide initiative to deliver 1,000 Grins to Go bags to Iowa’s youngest and most vulnerable patients. The bags included toys, games, and other fun activities. The program helped brighten the days of children and young people facing health challenges. LS2group assisted the company with every aspect of that announcement. That included establishing partnerships with major health care facilities in Des Moines, Cedar Rapids, Waterloo, and other communities. Working with these partners, the team delivered bags to local patients, developed media materials, engaged key media outlets to attend and cover the program, and organized the participation of the company’s state and national executive team.
Through those efforts, LS2group secured a variety of media stories in major broadcast television outlets in the Des Moines, Cedar Rapids, Quad Cities, and Ottumwa media markets along with key print outlets in those areas. The program helped reinforce the company’s commitment to assist Iowans, deliver world-class health care, and invest in local communities.
