Craig Schoenfeld

Senior Account Executive

Craig R. Schoenfeld specializes in combining his experiences as a lobbyist, press spokesperson, grassroots organizer, and campaign operations manager into a one-stop shop for clients.

Prior to joining LS2group, Craig worked as the Chief Operating Officer of Domiknow, Inc. In this role, he helped drive the digital marketing company from a “start-up” venture to a publicly traded corporation.  Craig also partnered with former United States Attorney and United States Senate candidate Matt Whitaker at Whitaker Strategy Group in Des Moines, IA. The consulting group specialized in public relations/media strategy, government affairs/issue management, and elections.

Craig has also has been active in the Iowa political scene, working and consulting for a variety of state and federal candidates. He served on former President George W. Bush’s 2000 Iowa caucus and general election teams, where he managed the president’s general election campaign in the state. He was executive director of former New York Governor George Pataki’s 2008 exploratory PAC in Iowa, and he also directed state presidential operations in 2011-2012 for former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich.

After leaving state government, Craig joined the law firm of Wasker, Dorr, Wimmer & Marcouiller P.C. as legislative counsel and lobbyist, coordinating government affairs, public relations and political strategies for a variety of clients.

Craig has been a guest lecturer at both Grinnell University and Drake University Law School. He served on the board of directors as legal counsel of the Iowa Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and is a member of several other civic organizations.

A native of Beaver Dam, WI, Craig earned a bachelor’s degree in communications and political science from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. He went on to receive his law degree and a master’s degree in mass communication from Drake University in Des Moines, IA.
